Boric Acid Disposal

When using boric acid, the sample should be processed. Next, I will introduce the sample treatment method of boric acid.

1. Non-reduction boric acid disposal

The samples of physiological body fluids, serum, urea, etc. are generally only boiled in 1%SDS for 3min without reducing agent, so the protein folding is not damaged and cannot be used as the measurement of molecular weight.

2. Reduced boric acid disposal with alkylation

The alkylation of iodoacetic amine can protect SH groups well and firmly, and get a narrow band. In addition, iodoacetamide can trap excessive DTT and prevent the graininess of silver stain. The 100ul boric acid buffer contains 10ul 20% iodiacetic amine and is kept at room temperature for 30min.

There are also reduced boric acid samples, so the products are separated by molecular weight in electrophoresis.

Preservation treatment of boric acid

The temperature of the solution used cannot be higher than room temperature. Air should be replaced at a fixed time to maintain proper temperature, humidity and sterility.
